About First Rescue

Established in 2003 First Rescue has become a trusted provider of high quality first aid training courses in the Leeds and York area, with clients such as the City of York Council, local authorities and Yorkshire businesses. First Rescue has delivered many First Aid courses in a variety of settings (Schools, Nurseries,Youth Centres, Hotels) and is committed to delivering consistent quality training.

Fun and Informative First Aid Courses

We ensure that not only are our trainers fully qualified, they are also enthusiastic, dedicated and will deliver a fun, informative first aid course. First Rescue has set itself apart from other first aid training companies by ensuring that the courses are kept lively, entertaining and enjoyable. We also provide the full package - (on most scheduled courses, delegates are provided with refreshments and a buffet lunch, leaving you free to focus on the course as opposed to wondering where the nearest place is to eat!) It is also our attention to detail that differentiates us from the competition. Unlike other first aid training companies, all first aid supplies used on First Rescue's training are brand new and unused and mannequins and equipment is always sanitised and kept in good working condition, ensuring your health and safety during the programme. A huge proportion of First Rescue's work comes through referrals and recommendations, and we are proud to have received 100% positive feedback from all of our first aid training delegates in the 7 years we have been operating.

Scheduled First Aid Training Courses

Fully HSE (Health and Safety Executive) approved First Rescue, runs a regular programme of high quality, first aid courses throughout the year, most of which are held in our newly refurbished room at Global Business Centre in York (Old Manor School). Our scheduled courses are ideal for individuals or companies that can only release a small number of employees at a time for first aid training. When on one of our first aid training courses, you will be provided with course manuals and books, a brand new HSE first aid kit that you can take away with you and a personal resuscitation faceshield, which are all included in the price of the course.

On-Site First Aid Training

In addition to our scheduled courses, we can also provide high quality first aid training at your premises or chosen venue, at a time that suits you. Ideally, the location should be suitable for up to 12 delegates, with sufficient room available to practise practical first aid aspects that involve kneeling and lying on the floor etc. First Rescue's on-site first aid training can take place at evenings or weekends and whether your premises is a state of the art venue or village hall, we have the latest technology to conduct high quality courses. Please note that in order to run HSE approved First Aid at Work courses, the venue chosen must also meet the standards required by the HSE.
