Our staff at First Rescue Training & Supplies Limited had a great day yesterday attending the new Royal Lifesaving Societey AED trainers course. Now we have completed this module we are one of the first companies in the UK to be able to deliver the 8th Edition National Pool Lifeguard Qualification with the AED bolt on. We have had a number of enquiries regarding paediatric first aid training from our customers asking - is this type of training approved by Ofsted and the HSE? It seems that there are a lot of training providers displaying information that is misleading both on student certificates and websites. Just to clarify the matter the Health and Saftey Executive (HSE), Ofsted and NCMA DO NOT approve this type of training course and a student certificate should not imply this.
