First Aid for Child Carers

This First Aid for Child Carers course is aimed at all those who work with children such as Childminders, Nursery workers, School staff, sports coaches etc. The course meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and is fully approved by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).

As with all of our First Aid training courses you will have lots of hands on practical work covering topics such CPR, Choking, Asthma, Diabetes, Sickle cell, Epilepsy, Burns and Scalds and much more.

Our trainers will also allow time to practice CPR and Choking on our adult manikins to give you these extra skills.

All delegates will complete practical elements in group situation and will be assessed throughout the course meaning no exams at the end.

A First Rescue certificate approved by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) is issued on successful completion of the course and this certificate is valid for 3 years.

If you work in a group setting or have access to a group of local childminders contact us to discuss running a session at a venue near you such as a Children's Centre. We deliver First Aid Training courses on a ratio of 1 trainer to 12 delegates.
